One of the most rewarding parts of my education was earning an emphasis in Creative Writing. In my time at CIA, I participated in a multitude of creative writing courses, and in my final semester, I took a class where students were able to compile a body of work. My body of work, titled Florescence, is a compilation of work throughout my time at CIA, as well as newer pieces. Themes in the collection are centered around being emotionally truthful, touching on moments of love, self-reflection, and the color pink. Not only was the collection written by me, but I also designed both the book cover and layout.
